The hotel offers a variety of food options for breakfast, including cereal and cheese. Its central location makes it convenient to access good restaurants in the medina for dinner. - Guests can enjoy a short walk to Moroccan and Italian restaurants, the adjacent gardens, the main street, and the rail station.

The location of the hotel to the Medina was great. Also, the appearance upon entering the hotel made you feel like you were in an actual palace.
The room itself was not worth the money paid. The bed was very uncomfortable and literally as hard as a rock. The front desk staff were also extremely unhelpful. Due to the volcano in Iceland, we were unable to reach the hotel on the first day of our reservation. However, we called that day and spoke to three different people letting them know our situation and which day we would be arriving. When we arrived, they said they had no rooms available for us or even record of our booking. They did not attempt to accommodate us in any way and treated us as if it were our fault. The next day we checked out and headed to the Royal Mirage-- great pool, rooms, and service. The Medina was a $2 (15 mad) cab ride away. stay there instead!

We liked our stay at the hotel. it was very comfortable and well located, however it looked like it could use a lift. The staff was very kind and welcoming, however could have been a little more hoenst regarding a guide for a tour of the medina.

The staff were very helpful and friendly. We were very impressed with the service.
The carpet in the halls outside the rooms was very very tired. There were many places where there were holes worn out through the carpet.

If you have time for swimming, which we didn't, the hotel had a nice pool. Also, the wait staff at breakfast was excellent.
The room itself was pretty run-down for a luxury hotel. A big block of the base of the bathtub had broken off and you could see the bottom of the tub under the concrete. Both days there were no towels in the rooms and we had to ask for them and wait a long time before they arrived. Welcomed by a snooty staff member at reception. Surprised to see store-bought nonfresh orange juice at breakfast, when every other hotel we stayed in on this vacation, including the cheapest hotel, served freshly squeezed orange juice.

The hotel was very easy to locate and was in a quiet area of Fez. The room was very well appointed and the staff extremely attentive as is usual in Morocco. For the price paid for the room it was extremely good vaue. The hotel is clean, the grounds well cared for. Perfect
Absolutely no complaints at all. Superb value for money.

Staff very friendly. Pool is lovely.
Hotel is most definetly not 5 star: Rooms are shabby and dated. Restaurant and pool service exceptionally slow. Aircon not cold enough in rooms; staff very friendly but in terms of us/uk ratings I would rate this a 2 star hotel
